Overview Page

This page shows all the daily shift reports.
Mining clients can only view and export reports once they have been Validated by the contractor.

  • The "Shift Info" holds 3 icons to hover over which indicate:

      Expected Shifts   Indicates if there are mismatched number of submitted shifts with Expected Shifts, either missing or extra.
    Important: DSRs will not be sent for Approval to the mining client until all shifts for that day have been Validated and the Expected Shifts = Validated Shifts.
    Warning   Validations   Indicates if there is something that needs further investigation in regards to a shift

  • Search Bar: type any character to filter the contents of columns in the grid:search bar updated-1


  • Filters:  click the filter iconFilter icon inactive in a column header to apply a filter. Click inside the white box to reveal a dropdown of items you can select to filter on. You can see all columns that have a filter applied by noticing the purple filter iconFilter icon active.  To clear all filters including anything in the Search bar, click "Clear All Filters" Clear All Filters to the right of Search bar above the table, or for an individual filter, click the "x" or "Clear" within the input field in the filter window:Filters updated

  • Links: click on a link indicated by underlined purple text to be directed to that data item page. You can link to a Contract or Project.

  • Bulk Export: for exporting multiple reports. Each Contract will be exported separately into different zip files. Select all reports in the selection column, either individually, or checkbox in the column header which will select all that are filtered then clickBulk Export button.

  • Resizable Columns: to resize columns, hover over the column edge until the arrow appears on your cursor, then click and drag.

To see a report and associated shifts, click anywhere in a row to navigate to the DSR Summary Page.

Validate/Approve all shifts here or click on a shift card for more details for the shift.

Note: A DSR will not be sent for Approval until all of the shifts for that report date have been Validated and the Expected shifts = the Validated shifts.

Summary Page Updated

The Summary Page has the following sections:

    • Identification Header
    • Shifts Section
    • Metrics: shows Total metrics for all shifts on this report date:
      • Total Man Hours, Total Activity Hours, Total Distance Drilled, and Total Charges
    • Visualizations: view breakdowns of each shift for Charges and Activities
  • Identification Header:
    DSR Summary ID Section 
    • Report Date and Drill
    • Report Status: reflects the number of reports and action needed
    • Contract
    • Project
    • Client/Contractor
    • Holes linked to the report and a survey icon Icon - Surveys if there is any associated survey data on a hole. Clicking on a hole will take you to the Hole Page in a new tab
  • Shifts Section:
    See a shift card for each shift attached to this report showing high-level info and associated actions. Icons for Validations Warning and Documents Forms-png will appear if they exist for this report.

    Update "Expected Shifts", or DownloadDownload icon-1 reports is also available.
    Click anywhere on a card to go to the Shift Detail page for the shift. Alternatively, you can click on the arrow CaretDown_thin  to expand/collapse the card:

    In the expanded card, you can view the summary of data attached to this shift in the “Quick Links” which shows the number of items in each category. Clicking on a Quick Link will take you directly to the associated table on the Shift Detail Page:

    You can also take action on each individual shift in the expanded card, or take action on All shifts at the bottom of the section:

    To navigate to the next report for the same Drill, Contract and Project, you can use the Previous & Next DSR:

  • Metrics: Totals for all shifts are shown here as well as any Attachments or Comments attached to a shift which you can hover over or click on to view when the icon is active: Comments and Attachments Updated

    To view details of Distance Drilled and Total Charges, click the dropdown arrow to expand:

You can quickly navigate between the Overview, Summary and Detail pages by clicking on an item here:Breadcrumbs-new

 

You can navigate the detail page in 2 ways: by scrolling or alternatively by clicking on the icons of each category that remain at the top of the page on the left side of the header section. As well, the action buttons also remain available here to access from anywhere on the page:

There are 3 sections in the header for: 

  • Quick Links: click on a quick link to jump directly to a category table for more details. The “to Top ”Button - To Top arrow will bring you back up to the top of the page. Navigate back to the Summary page with “back to Summary” button or in the Navigation Breadcrumbs above:

  • Shift Info: to Edit or Delete and see Status:

  • Navigation & Action section:

    • Access the Previous/Next report for the same Drill/Contract/Project
    • Navigate the shifts on this report by clicking on the shift color boxes Shift boxes. The purple outlines indicate which shift you are viewing
    • Take action on the report for the shift with Validate/Approve and have the option to navigate immediately to the next shift with the action "& Next" button.

On the Detail page you can see metrics for the shift selected (click to see dropdowns with more details for Distance Drilled, Charges and Drill Rates), and if there are any Comments or Attachments Comments and Attachments they will appear here which you can preview or download:Detail Pg Shift Metrics updated

Actions for Shift Reports 

Edit Delete   As a Contractor, prior to validation you can Edit or Delete a shift or record in a table

Validate All

  As a Contractor, for a New or Rejected shift, you can review and edit the shift and Validate, or Validate All shifts with the button below the shift cards

Button - Validate and Next

 

As a Contractor, to help speed up your validation process and navigation through reports, with one click you can validate a shift and go to the next shift of a report.

Note: if you are on the last shift of a report then you will be taken to the first shift of the next report date

Re-Open Shift

 

As a Contractor, if a shift has been Validated but not yet Approved by the client, you may Re-Open the shift to make edits

Delete All

 

As a Contractor, you can delete All shifts at once with the button below the shift cards

As a Mining Client, you can review and Approve a shift once it has been validated by the Contractor.

As a Mining Client, to help speed up your approval process and navigation through reports, with one click you can Approve a shift and go to the next shift of a report.

Note: if you are on the last shift of a report then you will be taken to the first shift of the next report date

Reject

Reject All

 

As a Mining Client, once a shift has been validated or approved, you can Reject the shift and add a note to return to the contractor.

Note: Editing a record will update all previous records where the items was selected. Deleting will archive the record item. It will not delete any previous record where the item was selected. 

To add a new record for each section:

Shift Detail Tables:

  • Validations: potential issues flagged that may require attention when editing the report
  • Workers: shows all workers that worked on that drill for the shift with both their Payroll and Man Hours
    • Payroll Hours: calculated from the Start/End times of the worker’s shift
    • Man Hours: calculated from the sum of the man hours recorded for that worker on each activity in the shift
  • Activities: shows a chronological list of all activities entered for the shift, ordered by Time. You can re-sequence activities by clicking and dragging the Move arrow DSR2.0 Move Activity arrow on the top right of the table in the event they need to be re-ordered.  The associated hole link listed at the top of the table will open the hole page in a new tab. View any Comments related to the activity underneath the table. Any additional activity-related data can be seen in the sub-tables when the expand icon is clicked. You can see a count of sub-category items above each relevant table:
    • Activity Workers
    • Activity Equipment
    • Surveys
    • Cement Plugs
    • Directional Drilling Runs. (Note: for details on Directional Runs please click here)
    • Coring
  • Equipment: shows all records entered onsite for the entire shift, not specific to an activity
  • Consumables: shows all records entered for the shift
  • Fluids: shows all records entered for the shift
  • Samples: shows all samples if the Drill Type equals Reverse Circulation
  • Additional Charges: any specific to a DSR shift (could be allocated to one specific hole or distributed to All holes). These can be positive or negative charges.
    (Note: Additional Charges at the Management level are across all holes and are not specific to the shift.)
  • Submitted Documents: shows all submitted documents with the daily shift report. Click on the file name to preview the document or for the option to download.
