Fact Tables
The following FACT tables are used to capture the majority of quantitative data within the Krux application:
• FACT_Activity – charges related to drilling activities such as moving, casing, repair, service, conditioning and standby
• FACT_Additional – charges associated to shipping/freight, mobilization, demobilization, training, and other business activities
• FACT_Consumable – costs associated with items used while drilling (e.g., bentonite, casing shoes, bits, casing caps, cement, resin)
• FACT_Equipment – charges related to equipment rentals and usage (e.g., bulldozer, excavator, boiler, man carrier)
• FACT_Fluid – fluid charges and their volumes are tracked in this table (e.g., fuel, water)
• FACT_Labour – daily shift report labour charges and timesheet charges are captured in this table
The following FACT tables are specialized to capture unique aspects of the data within the Krux application:
• FACT_DepthRange – All charges/hours are allocated across the drilling activities by depth range. Provides the ability to determine the differences in costs/hour as they are incurred throughout the drilling process
• FACT_KPI_Contract – Contains contract KPIs (key performance indicators) with target, actual and difference. These KPIs are setup at the contract level within the Metrix application. Use this in combination with KPI dimension tables
• FACT_Plan – Overall planned depth and budget details by Plan (hidden in data model - need to use plan measures)
• FACT_Plan_Forecast – Details of monthly planned depth forecasting by Plan (hidden in data model - need to use plan measures)
• FACT_Plan_Hole – Project and hole details that can be related back to a Plan (hidden in data model - need to use plan measures)
