Set Up Your Integration with Hub-IQ
This documentation outlines how to setup HUB-IQ to integrate with KRUX. Your company must have IMDEXHUB-IQ credentials with Admin level access to all Projects and associated Drill Holes and a subscription to the HUB-IQ environment.
Instructions for configuring the API Key in the KRUX application are provided by KRUX.

API Key Data
The API Key used for the KRUX integration enables continuously data transmission to the KRUX third-party application. This integration ensure that KRUX has access to real-time data as new data is synced to HUB-IQ or when changes occur. The available data for integration includes downhole navigation tool data only.
Obtaining an API Key
An API Key allows requests made via the API endpoints used by KRUX to be associated with the user account it has been setup under. Users can create multiple API keys under their account.
Use the following steps to create an API Key:
- Log into the HUB-IQ.
- Click on your username in the top right of the screen and select Manage Accounts.
- Click API Keys in the Account Management options.
- In the API Keys management section, click ‘NEW API KEY’
- In the Generate New API Key modal, provide a name/description and select the preferred unit of measure from the dropdown for the data to be returned. The default will be ‘Based on project units’ however, users can select meters of feet. Click Add button to generate the API Key.
- A modal with the generated API key will appear. Copy the API Key using the copy icon next to the API key before you click ‘Close’.
NOTE: Ensure you keep this API key in a safe place as you will not be able to access this key again in HUB-IQ.
Delete an API Key
- In the API Keys management section, click on the X icon at the top right of the API Key item.
- A confirmation modal will provide you with the option to delete the API key or cancel. Click ‘OK’ to delete key.
Unit of Measure dropdown options
The Unit of Measure dropdown options provide users with the flexibility to return the data in a preferred UOM regardless of what UOM was specified at the Project level.
- Based on project units – This is select by default. This option returns the data in the UOM of the Project setup in Plan Projects in HUB-IQ.
- Meters (metric) - This option returns the data in Meters regardless of the Project setup in Plan Projects in HUB-IQ.
- Feet (Imperial) - This option returns the data in Feet regardless of the Project setup in Plan Projects in HUB-IQ.
Set up HUB-IQ in KruxMetrix
In the Set Up tab of the HUB-IQ Integration, enter the API Key configured for your company by HUB-IQ:
The Hole Name and Project should match and the data will now flow into KruxMetrix. Navigate to the Hole Detail page and scroll down to see the Surveys section:
