KruxLog Check for Report Submission

Ensure that your KruxLog reports are submitted and received by ensuring you follow these instructions.

Please follow the instructions below to ensure reports are correctly submitted in KruxLog. Reports can be received and reviewed in KruxMetrix within 15 minutes.

DSR and timesheet report entries sent from KruxLog are generally <5 kb as they are sent as XML files to KruxMetrix so even with limited connectivity the reports should be able to be received. If you are attaching a photo or pdf to reports this will increase the size of the report based on the size of the attachments included. You can include attachments in the forms or comments section of the report. Please ensure your device has enough memory to store these files as we do cache them before they are sent on your device.

    If using OFFLINE MODE

At remote sites with limited connectivity or underground sites offline mode may be a necessity. This does however introduce additional steps to ensure your reports are sent as soon as possible after a shift.

When in Offline mode your home page should look like this with the disabled wifi icon highlighted.

From the Home page select Enable Offline Mode (the no wifi icon should be highlighted).

    • This will allow you to enter your DSR information while in areas with no connectivity. When you return to an area with connectivity such as camp or the site office you can then enable connectivity and the report will be sent as soon as a stable connection is available (if the DSR has been submitted in Offline Mode).
    • You will know when you’re in offline mode when the top banner is red
    1. Enter your report as usual
    2. Once completed select the Submit button from the DSR shift page
    3. Then select Save. This does not mean the report has been sent to KruxMetrix as you are still in Offline Mode. You will need to return to an area of connectivity and re-enable Online Mode for the report to be sent from your device to KruxMetrix
    4. From the DSR Page you should now see this:
      • Note: because you are still in Offline Mode the report is still pending submission until you enable Online Mode and can successfully transmit the report to KruxMetrix. At this time you will not see a record of this report in the Past Reports page
    5. To ensure the report is sent successfully enable Online Mode from the Home page so that the next time a user logs into the app in the area of a stable wifi connection on that device your report will be sent to KruxMetrix. Reports will not be sent to KruxMetrix until KruxLog is open and logged into in the presence of a stable wifi connection. Reports are saved on the device in a pending state until a connection is made available.

    6. Once you return to an area with stable connectivity (camp, site office, etc) and login to the device with pending reports, you will see this Pending Reports message. Select OK.

Proceed to confirm if the DSR report was sent and received, this may take up to 15 minutes
