In   Documents Tab, visible to Drilling Companies only


Use the Master Documents page to upload and manage your documents and their associated categories.

There are two different types of documents they are;

  • Reference – these are reference documents for field staff to download or view but do not have any ability to submit against.
  • Form – these are form templates where you can define where and when this form is required to be filled out and submitted.

To add a new Document Category, click and a new category table will appear below. To add a new Document Category, click , you will be prompted to enter the new Category name and a brief description.

To add a new Document, click and you will be prompted to select the following required fields:

    • Document Category – either select from available categories or select to add a new one.
    • Type – this is either a Reference or Form
    • Name – title or name of document
    • Description – more detailed description for the document
    • File – select and upload the file

If you selected Form as the type of document the following additional fields are required;

  • Submission Type – select either General or Per Employee.
    • General is one required per report submission
    • Per employee refers to a required document for each employee on the Timesheet or DSR
  • Form Available on – select where you want users to have the ability to view the template and submit documents from. Options are Documents Page in KruxLog, Daily Shift Report or Timesheet. You can select multiple.
  • Submission – for DSR or Timesheet forms you can select whether submission of the documents are required for each report or if it’s optional.
  • Client View – this determines whether or not you share this document with your clients via their portal.

Action Items on this page are;

Click to add new Document or Category.

Click to edit. Editing will update any previous records already recorded to that Document or Category.

Click to delete. Deleting will remove the Document from the list. You cannot delete a Document with records associated to, in that case you will have to archive it.

Select here to download a local copy of the document or form.

Click to archive the Document. Archiving will remove the Document from the available documents on KruxLog for submission.

Click to reactivate the Document. Reactivation will add the Document back to the available documents on KruxLog for submission.
