Preferences
Preferences save users time by automatically populating device preferences into Daily Shift Reports, Timesheets, Units, and Crews.
Preferences are saved on a per device basis. If the user switches to another device, the preferences will not follow them there, and will need to be reconfigured.
To configure and check Preferences, click the Preferences button on the bottom of the screen on the right side or through the menu.
Click on the DSR, Timesheet, Units, or Crews tab to configure their preferences.
Crews
It is recommended to enter the Crew preferences first, as the Crew preferences can be used when setting up the DSR preferences.
- Click on the Crews tab, then click the button to create a Crew.
- Enter in the Crew name and select the Crew Supervisor by clicking on the Supervisor drop-down menu and choosing the correct worker.
- Next, select the other workers by clicking the Worker drop down menu, selecting the required worker, and then clicking the Role drop down menu and selecting the correct Role for the Worker.
- To add additional Workers to the Crew, click on the green
button and to remove them click the red
button.
- Click the
button to save the Crew.
- Click the
button to add additional Crews.
Units
To set the Units Preferences:
- Click on the Units tab. Here the user can select and save the Units that are used day to day during activities.
- Select the desired unit by clicking on the corresponding drop-down menu for the each of the measurements.
- If the user has no preference for the measurement unit, keep it blank.
- Once the appropriate units have been selected, click on the
button to save the Preferences.
Timesheet
To set the Timesheet Preferences:
- Click on the Timesheet tab. Here the user can select and save the attributes that commonly occur during a shift that are not tied directly to one drill. Examples of this would be a Shift Supervisor or a Mechanic.
- Select the appropriate Client, Contract, and Project from their drop-down menus.
- Add workers with the
button, then select the Worker and their Role from the drop-down menus.
- Save the amount of time automatically added to the timesheet by clicking the time box, selecting the number of hours worked, and then clicking confirm. You may have the option to select smaller increments such as 5-minutes if your administrator has set this up.
- To save the drills worked on everyday, click the Drills drop-down menu and select the drill(s) needed, then click OK.
- Add activities by clicking the
button, then add the Time and any Comments needed.
- Check off All Workers if all the workers will work on the activity.
- Click the
(Add Equipment) button to add equipment that will be used daily. Select the correct equipment from the Equipment drop-down menu then choose the unit number and add the time.
- To add Workers/Activities/Equipment click
, to remove click
.
- Once the appropriate fields have been filled out, click on the
button to save the Preferences.
Daily Shift Report (DSR)
To set the DSR Preferences:
- Click on the DSR tab. Here the user can select and save the details that are commonly found in a drilling report. Daily Shift Reports are always tied to a drill and require a driller.
- Select the appropriate Drill, Client, Contract, Project and Shift from the drop-down menus.
- Add workers with the
button, then select the Worker and their Role from the drop-down menus.
- Click on the Activity drop-down menu to select everyday activities that you would rather not re-enter, such as a safety meeting. Select the type of Activity and add the amount of time for each Activity. You may have the option to select smaller increments such as 5-minutes if your administrator has set this up.
- To Add more Activities, click on the
button and repeat the process.
- To add Equipment, click on the Equipment drop-down menu, and select the correct piece of Equipment, then it’s unit number, then the quantity of the Equipment being used. Click on the
button to add more Equipment and repeat the above process if needed.
- Click the Consumables drop-down menu to add in consumables that will be used daily. Select the correct consumable from the drop-down menu then choose the type of consumable and add the amount of consumable used. Click on the
button to add more Consumables and repeat the above process if necessary.
- To remove Workers, Activities, Equipment, or Consumables, click
.
- Once all the needed items are entered, click on the
button.
- Click on the
button to add additional DSR preferences.
